About Me
Deeply listening in authentic relationship and living life with authentic creativity are my passions. Person-centred counselling skills are at the heart of my holistic counselling pracitce, which means I listen with empathy and without judgement. When you feel heard in a trusted, safe, and authentic relationship, you begin to feel better, heal and grow in your sense of well-being. core self and relationships.
My counselling practice draws on my life-long calling to a career that is fundamentally about listening to others. My personal background includes both early childhood and visual art teaching. I am a Painting Fine Art major from the University of Sydney (Sydney College of the Arts SCA)..
I’ve found an Holistic counselling approach especially restorative for navigating oneself through grief, the experience and aftermath of domestic violence and /or attachment trauma and through the challenges of decreased mobility, isolation and loneliness of aging.
A therapeutic relationship is a safe space where you are no longer alone or isolated. Deeply personal and relational challenges emerge as you deep-dive into the parts of yiourself that seek emergence, love, and respect. Together, we may explore social norms that might judge, ignore, and mock you. A genuine therapeutic relationship brings compassionate understanding towards your increased self-awareness so that life can be lived with enhanced hope, love, joy, deeper interpersonal connections and meaningful change...
I embrace the whole of life with love and soul and belief in each human being’s capacity for moving through pain, growth and change. Hands On Holistic whole-heartedly welcomes cultural, religious, familial, and personal differences.

This doesn’t mean you need to be imaginative or artistic but can include being curious about what appears in your dreams, chance encounters, everyday world events and body symptoms. “I understand how difficult life can be to navigate a complex world that demands so much from us. I know how painful it can be not to know how to feel, what to think, what to do next, and to feel alienated from ourselves and others. My services may help you deeply reconnect with your core sense of self through ‘more than words’, including nature and art, through deep listening with a non-judgemental and respectful therapeutic relationship. My services are guided by your uniqueness for feeling better, easing suffering, enhancing hopefulness, self-compassion, heart-wisdom and authentic relationship.
I believe your dreams, body symptoms, relationship conflicts, and everyday occurrences truly matter, and when you allow time in a therapeutic relationship for your curiosities and difficulties, your engagement with life will expand, and you will heal and thrive in authentic and empowered ways. I understand that taking small steps can be difficult and seem impossible. But I also believe in who you are, in your courage and capacity for growing and healing, especially on days when you don’t. I am here to support your journey wherever it begins, needs and dreams of being.
